But we have to say, the sweet ones are to die for! With specials like Fresh blueberry, banana, vanilla bean mascarpone, drizzled with maple syrup and crumble, or the Homemade poached pear, raspberry coulis, almond, ice cream and whipped cream. Now time for some magical coffee. One of the absolute best places in town for this is Haven Speciality Coffee. This awesome spot is an Asian fusion coffee café in Surry Hills. They are passionate about coffee and came up with their own method of coffee brewing called Coffee Tailoring. This concept was developed by two of the owners – one is a former Sensory and Visual Judge of world coffee competitions, and the other is an individualist who strongly believes that the best coffee in the world is the coffee “YOU LOVE”. It doesn’t get much better than that! They also have a delicious breakfast and brunch menu!

We know we said coffee but how about some delicious traditional tea as well? Try The Tea Cosy while in Sydney. You will love it. It is an Irish-Australian family-run business who opened the doors of their tea room in 2005. It is located in a stunning 1870s heritage-listed building and the vision behind this place is to serve beautiful old style devonshire tea where they use old-fashioned methods with the best quality ingredients and sides. “Just like nanna used to make” as they say. Alongside your tea you can also enjoy scones made by hand from scratch each morning with Australian-made gourmet jams. What’s not to love?

Ever heard about the Strawberry Watermelon Cake? Well, if you haven’t it is about time, because this is a popular one amongst many tourists visiting Sydney, and it is an absolute classic that you cannot miss out on. Black Star Pastry is where you find this excellent cake, of course alongside many other divine creations. With whatever delicious treat you choose they also have a great drink selection and this is absolutely a must stop in Sydney.
