Agra Flights GuideMost famous for Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, but there are other sights to see left by the Mughal empire. These include the Agra Fort and the abandoned city of Fatehpir Sikri, which is a day trip away from Agra by bus (these are both UNESCO World Heritage Sites!). Other attractions are the Kinari Bazaar, Mathura (a village that is said to be the birthplace of Hindu God Krishna, and is a 90 minute bus ride from Agra), and Akbar's Tomb. Throughout the year there are also festivals including the Taj Literature Festival, a celebration of the Taj Mahal, and the Kailash Fair.
Delhi and Jaipur, which form the "Golde Triangle" of tourism in India are easily accessed by train, car, or bus. If traveling by car, the Yamuna Expressway runs through Agra, and if by train, there are four main train stations in Agra in which most trains to other parts of the country stop.

Winters are mild, summers are hot and dry, and things can get wet during monsoon season (June-September).The best time to visit Agra is January-March or October-December, when temperatures are still fairly mild and not incredibly hot, and excessive rainfall can be avoided.
