Eagle Flights GuideEagle, Colorado is a small town just outside of two famous ski resorts including Vail and Beaver Creek. While the town has great proximity to these popular attractions, Eagle itself is a lovely place to visit located near Glenwood Canyon and amazing white water rafting opportunities. The Centennial Park in Eagle is always full of public activities like yoga, concerts, and other events. The trails through the mountains in Eagle are perfect for hikers and mountain bikers, and once you've worked up an appetite, head to the Historic Central Business District downtown for some great eats!
As I mentioned earlier, Eagle is within proximity to both Vail and Beaver Creek. There are shuttles available from Eagle to various resorts in Vail, however this comes at quite a cost per person. Renting a car would likely be the most cost effective thing to do.
Eagle experiences four distinct seasons with hot summers reaching 25? and winters cooling down to freezing. Depending on the purpose of your travel, Eagle can be visited and enjoyed during any season. Visiting in the summer gives you the opportunity to go white water rafting and hiking through the mountains, while winter offers spectacular skiing and snowboarding opportunities.
