Jaipur Flights GuideJaipur, India is one of the largest cities in the Western part of the country. It is the capital of Rajasthan, and a popular tourist destination known for its proximity to Mount Abu. Jai Mahal, translated to "The Water Palace" and Hawa Mahal "Palace of Winds" are some of the most popular tourist attractions, in addition to the Jaipur Zoo.
Jodhpur is a mere 200 miles away and Jaisalmer is hardly further at 350 miles away. Rail transit makes both destinations easy and convenient. Because India is quite large, Jaipur International Airport is an important transportation hub for both international and domestic flights.
Jaipur nearly falls into a hot desert climate, though there is a yearly monsoon season between the months of June and September. Temperatures in the Summer months hover between the 80s and 90s, though the weather from November to February is considered mild. Because the summer months can be prohibitively hot, the best time to visit is easily from November to February, when the sun is less strikingly hot and monsoons are less likely to happen. An elephant festival in the month of March is a particularly nice time to visit for a taste of Jaipur culture.
