Kyrgyzstan offers a wide variety of things to do from exploring mountains like the Tian Shan mountains, visiting the lakes and hot springs of Issyk-Kul, or backpacking through Karakol. Bishkek, the capital of this country, is very famous due to its access to the Kyrgyz-Ala-Too mountains which offer many trails and hiking options. Although this country has over twenty airports in total, it has one main international airport, Manas International Airport. It is located in Bishkek, which is the capital of the country, as well as its biggest city. Some other popular airports in Kyrgyzstan are Osh Airport, Jalal-Abad Airport, Kazarman Airport, and Kerben Airport.Kyrgyzstan has a continental climate, which means it has cold winters and warm summers. Areas in the mountains tend to be a little cooler, while areas in lower altitudes can be extremely hot during the summer. Most of the precipitation is found in the western region, but the area only receives a medium amount. The middle and eastern regions are much drier and even desert-like.
