Managua Flights GuideManagua is the capital of Nicaragua, and houses three natural reserves: the El Chocoyero - El Brujo, the Chiltepe Peninsula (with volcanic lagoons!) and the Montibelli Natural Reserve, which is a big attraction for bird lovers. The Montelimar Beach is covered in palm tree shade and sandy beaches, perfect for lounging or dipping in for a swim. And, the Old Cathedral of Managua is still standing strong and beautiful.
Visit the crater lake at the Historico Nacional Loma de Tiscapa. Take a bus or a car to Leon, Nicaragua, or a flight or boat to the Corn Islands. Temperatures are always very hot with little variation, with a rainy season from May to October. Visit in December or January for slightly lower temperatures and less rain.
