Fun fact: The famous city of Detroit, Michigan is considered the car capital of the world, as it is where Henry Ford lived and worked. The Henry Ford Museum commemorates him. Lake Michigan and Lake Huron have incredible waters, lighthouses, and opportunities to lounge by the shore, sail, and fish. The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore has a number of other activities, from hiking and climbing to kayaking and bear spotting.
