Nigeria Flights Guide

Located in West Africa, Nigeria is well-known for its wildlife reserves. The main two that draw visitors are Cross River National Park and Yankari National Park, both of which have rich natural elements such as waterfalls and savannah. One of the key features of these parks is the potential to view rare primate species as well. Travel to Northern and Central Nigeria is currently discouraged by many countries due to ethnic and racial tensions, however, coastal cities along remain inviting, the most well-known of these being Lagos, the country's largest city at 7.9 million residents. Lagos is known for its boutique shopping, nightlife, and resorts.

Prospective visitors to Nigeria should plan to travel between October and April to avoid the rainy season, but should also note that the country experiences high trade winds between December and February. Travelers should plan to arrive at Lagos' Murtala Muhammed Airport for safety reasons.
