Niue Flights Guide

The small island-nation of Niue is located in the south Pacific. It draws travelers for its limestone cliffs and amazing coral reef dive-sites, and whale-watching is a popular and fruitful activity between the months of July and October. Getting to Niue can be challenging due to its remoteness, but regular flights to the island can be easily obtained via Air New Zealand. Peak season for tourism is between April and October, and upon arriving to Hanan International Airport, it's a five-minute drive to the island's main town and capital, Alofi. Alofi is a beautiful beach town, with one of the most frequented being Utuo Beach.

Niue experiences an annual hurricane season between December and March, but also enjoys a warm tropical climate for the rest of the year, characterized by a dry season and a wet season. Between May and October is the best time to visit Niue, with July and August seeing the coolest temperatures of the year at night, around 55 F/12 C.
