Pattaya Flights GuideThey say Pattaya is known for its religious sites, and the sacred energy of the city is palpable at the Wat Phra Yai Temple, where you'll make friends with a Buddha that towers 18m tall. But, there's much fun to be had, too - with watersports at the Jomtien Beach, the jumping nightlife on Walking Street, and ferocious tigers at the Sriracha Tiger Zoo. Another sight is the Nong Nooch Tropical Garden Na Jomtien, which has perfectly crafted greenery - incredible from above or while you're walking through.
Bangkok is just a two hour drive or bus ride away, and Phuket is accessible via a one hour and a half flight. The best time to visit Pattaya is during the cooler months of November through February - and everyone knows it. If you'd prefer to miss the crowds and concomitantly high prices, hit Pattaya around September, October, March, and April.
