45 minutes from Apia is the main international airport of Faleolo serving flights to New Zealand, Australia and Fiji. Fagalii Airport east of Apia serves more local flights in the area with only 5 or 6 flights daily. Samoa has an equatorial and monsoonal climate with warm and tropical weather year round. The dry season falls from May through October with the wet season from November through April.
