Tasmania Flights Guide

Tasmania (affectionately known as "Tassie") is a beloved island to the south of Australia, with majestic sights and wilderness exploration activities. Hike The Hazards of the Freycinet National Park or to the top of Mt. Amos to peer over into Wineglass Bay, with its vibrant blue waters. Its capital, Hobart, is a popular destination - and it's also home to the cities of Launceston, Burnie, Devonport, and Queenstown. Many tourists visit to eat and drink, as Tasmania has scrumptious cheeses, wines, chocolates, and beers.

Fly into the Hobart International, Launceston, Burnie, or Devonport Airports. It is pleasantly warmest in its summer season of December to February. The colder months are June through August, when it can see snowfall on its mountain peaks. Visit during the period of November through March when the weather is warmest, but keep in mind that the months of December through February bring the most crowds.
